Vintage Marx Toy Steel Boat 12 1/2” Long with RARE Outboard Motor 1930’s. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail
VERY RARE COMBO FROM THE 1930’s!
- Outboard Motor designed especially for boat. Motor attaches securely to the aft using a catch that tucks snug onto the rear seat and over the stern for a firm sturdy ride. Motor can be removed just as easily.

-Made by Marx
-Thick steel hull with factory applied red interior and topside is an off white yellow.
- Outboard Motor has a green covering bonnett and the other bonnett is the same color red as the Steel Boat.
- Measures approx. 9-1/2" L x 3-1/8" W x 1" H without motor
- Measures approx. 12 1/2” L with motor
- Unmarked but identical to the Marx Toy Steel 9 1/2” Row Boat of the same era.
Condition of Boat: Mild scratching on hull and minimal play wear topside from age. Good vintage condition showing some spotty oxidation and mild loss to the paint from age. Displays well.
Condition of Motor: Outboard needs to be serviced, cogs spin freely, lever moves freely back and forth screw spins freely but the spring motor is tight and key can’t turn any further. There’s also old friction tape with the name Charles on it that I left and leave it up to the collector to decide if they’d like to keep it on or take it off.
I see this fantastic opportunity to be in a collectors static display but if they’d like to attempt to correct the outboard motor, it just might be an easy fix so I leave it up to the collector to decide.
Regardless or either way you won’t be disappointed with this depression era combo set toy boat and outboard motor in complete unaltered condition.
It’d be hard to upgrade on this fantastic 90 year old treasure.
