It is an authentic old bookplate from a book of drawings by Diana Thorne, and not a reproduction.
It was featured in the publication,
Real Tales of Real Dogs,
by Albert Payson Terhune, famous for his works on dogs.
Published by Saalfield Pub. Co. Akron, Ohio 1935.
The print is in excellent condition with no rips or tears and is nicely
age toned.
The enclosed photos feature the un-matted, bookplate print as well as the print mounted into a black 11” x 14”matt. The print will be loosely protected in the matt for shipping so the buyer can decide on the final mounting or framing.
