  • Condition: This vintage mechanical toy was an estate sale find and is in good condition, especially for being nearly 60 years old. This toy was definitely played with and enjoyed. The left pontoon was cracked and taped back together (see pic # 5). There is a small hole in the front of the left pontoon The right pontoon is cracked along the outside (see pic # 6). The wind-up prop mechanism does work as it should. I didn't test to see if it floats. The box is in very nice shape!

    This hard-to-find vintage 1963 mechanical seaplane was part of the GI Joe family of toys.
    This vintage mechanical toy was an estate sale find and is in good condition, especially for being nearly 60 years old.  This toy was definitely played with and enjoyed.  The left pontoon was cracked and taped back together (see pic # 5).  There is a small hole in the front of the left pontoon  The right pontoon is cracked along the outside (see pic # 6).  The wind-up prop mechanism does work as it should.  I didn't test to see if it floats.  The box is in very nice shape!
