Vintage 1940s Louis Marx Co. Wind up Squad Car

Description

This is a wind up squad car very similar to the Dick Tracy toy cars of the same era (lsate 1940s?). Over a foot long and in very good condition.It has a place for the battery underneath, which I imagine is for the light. When the key is winded and the switch turned on the windshield a whirring noise is started. Not sure if that is supposed to be a siren or what. I don't believe the car is designed to move on its own, and it doesn't. I saw on a similar model that the machine gun sparks. Not sure about this one.
