The artwork is an original pencil drawing that has been created by American artist Betty LaDuke (1933-) United States.
Betty LaDuke was born in New York and studied at the High School of Music and Art in New York,
the Cleveland Institute of Art and California State University at Los Angeles from 1960 through 1963.
Betty LDuke is noted as a painter, muralist and art educator and author.
Betty LaDuke has taught at Southern Oregon University from 1964 until 1996, although some references state that the artist retired in 1992 rather than 1996.
