These are a relatively rare pair of speakers. They were designed for and originally part of a top line Technics 5.1 system.  Designed as a surround speaker that could be placed strategically or mounted on the wall to provide a superior effect speaker that fires out the front and back to fill the gap between front and rear while delivering low frequencies separately from the back and in combination with the highs of that great 1" silk dome tweeter (up to 40+khz) in the front. For this purpose they are fantastic surround speakers.
However, in a 2 channel system or as the front speaker in a home theater they can be just as great!! Place them on stands at least 3 feet or more from the back wall. The dipole design does a fantastic job throwing up a huge, clear soundstage that gives a dipole presentation of depth front to back. Mate it with a sub to extend the lows beyond the claimed 44hz.
All in all a cool little Technics product you don't see every day. Their condition is excellent with no damage of any kind, all four grills perfect and of course, the drivers are all 100% functional.
