single Polk Audio Signature S10 America Hi-fi satellite speaker, used

Description

This listing is for 1  Polk Audio " American Hi-Fi" S10 2-way satellite speaker. There are 2 identical speakers in this listing, so choose quantity 2 if you want both.
These speakers are scuffed, gouged, modified to be hung from the ceiling because the mount provided in the middle of the back of the speaker is of inferior quality and poorly located. The mount (for the speaker weight is a tiny 1/4" -20 screw brass hole that pulled right out of the cabinet when i tried to screw a mount to them.( I glued them back in but they won't hold anything).
So I experimented with hanging them from the back plastic shield and there are extra holes in that shield in both and pieces sawed off (see pictures). then after a couple years I decided to hang them in the back of the listening area on different mounts in the ceiling but the speakers where too heavy for the ceiling mount at  right angles so I drilled holes in the tops of the speakers (see pictures) and mounted them straight down. Then when I took them off those mounts to sell them, I filled the holes with matching  polyurethane calk.
Note that I take many pictures of the used things I sell for which cosmetic condition is a concern and I choose the most unflattering pictures I took for the listing. (which is to say the clearest photos) I much prefer people skip over my listings because my item  is too beaten looking rather than buy them and be disappointed, which is also why I bother to detail how all the cosmetic flaws on these speakers got there in the first place. I also can type fast, and am not too lazy to do as good a description as possible like a lot of other sellers seem to be.
