This auction is for a lot of nine used/unused stamps from
Sierra Leone
dating between 1896 and 1938.
They are:
Sierra Leone
Scott 34, 104, 123, 127, 154 used and Scott 141, 153, 173, 174 unused stamps with gum featuring the images of Queen Victoria, King George V and George VI as well as the arms of
Sierra Leone
, slave throwing off shackles, etc. Any small black marks on hinge remnants are from a Scott 1930 worldwide album where printer’s ink stamp images (a few on each album page) left marks on the hinges and/or stamps hinged over them.
The stamps were
previously hinged and centering/condition is shown in scans (
SEE IMAGES – digital scans of the front/back of the stamp).
