Vintage 1960's Made in Korea,Wind-up Dog
From an estate sale, a very rare (no others like it on Google) and early example of "Made in Korea" wind-up toy. There are many imitations today. This may be the original, and it includes the original box. One of the top flaps on the box had come undone, and was glued back. When you wind it up, all four legs alternately move and it slowly walks forward.
The box label is "Made in Korea" and the toy looks to me suspiciously like a Hong Kong or "Made in Japan" product of that era. The toy came in box full of other, collected, similar toys, from Japan or Hong Kong  and one other toy was also stamped "Made in Korea" so perhaps it was a product that did not make it to the American market. But I am not a certified antique expert!
The pup is in great condition, with sleek fur, and mechanically sound.
