    Description

    RARE Vintage Marx, Spic Drummer and Span Dancer Wind-Up Tin Toy. Here is a brilliantly colorful and rarely seen toy that actually is in working condition. When wound his right leg moves up and down to make the cymbals open and shut. His right arm moves making the drum stick hitting the top of the drum. There is a drumstick coming out of the floor that also hits the bass drum he is sitting on. All this is done in conjunction with Span dancing about. He jumps up and down while turning around and around. A lot of action going on here for an early toy that is 80+ years old. Check out the picture to see this wonderful scarce toy. Marx actually made two different versions of this toy with the one you see here and the other with Span playing an instrument.
