This is a rare opportunity and your last chance to own a GARY LARSON THE FAR SIDE Daily Comic Strip ORIGINAL Art dated 1-5-84 (Chronicle Features, 1984). I received a estimate from Heritage Auctions last week so if it does not sell on ebay I will put it on the auction block.  “Listen... I’m fed up with this ‘weeding out the sick and the old’ business... I want something in its prime”. Larson's wonderful weirdness brightened every reader's mornings from 1979 to 1995. One doesn't often see Far Side originals, and this particular strip is an outstanding example of the surreal and droll humor that was a hallmark of Larson's long running strip. Any and all original art from this series is considered rare, and well-sought after by his fans. The last Original sold for almost ,000 and each time one comes up on auction it sells for higher price. This is a great investment. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 6.5" x 7.5". Matted and framed to an overall size of 11.5" x 13.5". Signed by Larson at the Top of the panel. Dated 1-5 with correction (See Photos) Aside from a small chip on the frame this piece is in Excellent condition. Original Larson Far Side art is about as rare as a tax break from Prince John, so don't let this prize example slip away. Please see photos for full description
