This is an original graphite pencil drawing by the Artist Amanda Blake. It's a one-of-a-kind unique drawing, since only one of them were made. Graphite pencil on 100% rag cotton paper. It's professionally framed in a deep, cool looking 3D black frame with thin line grooves to match the stripes of the shirt in the drawing. It's ready to hang with the proper hanging hardware in back. Amanda Blake is an American artist who paints imagined portraits and narrative works that deal with themes of memory, fate, and superstition. HGr pieces draw the viewer close to create a feeling of connection with the characters. Her work is inspired by found vintage photographs, Byzantine art, the Pre-Raphaelites, and abstract expressionism. She received her BA in fine arts from the University of Oregon, studied watercolor in Siena, Italy and oil painting and printmaking at the Chautauqua Art Institute in New York.
