NCR DB-9 to RJ-12 Serial Cable Adapter 1639-K159 CN 10381 CounterPoint, P-Series

Description

This is a new cable adapter for NCR Counterpoint point of sale systems to adapt from a DB-9 cable to an RJ-12.  NCR purchased Radiant Systems and Aloha, so this part may also be used on those systems.
The part # is 1639-K159 and the model number is CN 10381 (Rev B).
Note: this part may be incorrectly listed as CN100381 in the NCR documentation, where the part itself is labeled CN 10381 (Rev B) in the photos.
This adapter connects to the 9 pin (DB-9) serial port located on an external device / peripheral, like a Star SP200 or Epson TM-T88V printer. From there, you can use a serial cable (not included) to go between this adapter and the RJ-12 serial port on the back of your point of sale system.
This is a common part with various NCR point of sale systems, including the Counterpoint and P-series (P1235, P1530, P1535, Columbus800, etc).
