    1940's Vintage MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN "Tumbling Pierrot" celluloid windup toy with original box
    Action:
    Pierrot puts his suitcases on the floor and does a complete forward flip, and then continues repeating the action.
    Size:
    5 inches tall, 2-3/4 inches wide and 1-3/4 inches deep.
    Markings:
    MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN is embossed in the celluloid on the inside of the right hand suitcase (see last 2 photos).  The label on the lid of the box has a trademark (see photo) which I do not recognize, and MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN printed below the trademark.
