  • Condition: This comes with the original box, the two cars and the wind up knob. It does not have a functioning spring so it can not be wound up. I do have a replacement elastic band with a clip that can be attached to the toy. Also missing is the piece that would ring the bell, which would attach to the left of the bell above the windup key.     Description

    J. Chein & Company Mechanical Tin Windup Roller Coaster product number 275.   Comes with 2 cars and a replacement elastic band that would move the cars from the bottom of the roller coaster to the top.  Also has what I believe to be the original windup key but it is missing the spring that would allow you to wind it up, as such it does not work as originally intended.  Also missing is the piece that would ring the bell, which would attach to the left of the bell above the windup key.  I am not an expert on these toys so there may be other issues I am not aware of.  The finish is in excellent shape and this might make an excellent piece if you have the ability to fix it or as a very nice display piece.  Please see pictures and if you have any questions please contact me.
