FRENCH NEOCLASSICAL SCHOOL 19thC - PORTRAIT OF A BIBLICAL FIGURE - PENCIL DRAWIN

I'm selling this nice early 19th century French drawing.
The drawing, executed in pencil on early 19th century paper, depicts a portrait of a Jewish high priest.
On his clothing on his forhead : inscriptions in Hebrew.
This drawing could have been preparatory for a (historical) painting.
Authorship : the drawing is from the French Neoclassical School.
Period : ca. 1820.
Size : 26,3x20,8cm.
Condition : Fairly good.  Some scattered dirt throughout.  Top corners missing (curved of shape).  Top and bottom side : traces of wrinkling.  Some small spots.  Bottom corners : tiny holes.  Right side slightly irregular of shape.  Backside : traces of a paper support.  Unframed.

Important : I will get back on the road for markets on the 30th of August.  The first one will be in Bologna, Italy on the 31th.  From Italy, I'll be travelling to the South of France for the three international pro antiques markets in combination with some local events.  This will keep me in the South of France till the 9th of September.  Thereafter, I'll be returning to Italy (Tuscany), where we'll be competing in the cycling race GRAN FONDO STRADE BIANCHE in Sienna.  The race will be on at September 12.  On the 14th, we're getting back to Belgium with just a brief stop near Munich.  I'll be back home on the 16th.  This way, I won't be able to ship during this period.  Shipments will re-start right away after my return on the 16th of September.  Sales will continue and communication won't be a problem (first sales ending on the 1th of September).
