    Ferdinand Strauss Dizzy Lizzie Leaping Lena Jalopy, Wind-Up Vintage 1920s repair. Okay folks I put this little toy through the paces and when I manually turn the key in the direction of operation it goes through all its motions effortlessly, the only drawback is as it seems as though the key skips on the spring
    when turned in the windup
    direction
    as though maybe the catch point on the spring came loose from the shaft. everything else is in place including the spring again somehow it seems as though the spring has skipped off of the shaft but does not seem broken perhaps someone with more experience can do an easy repair and this will be a fully functional toy once again all parts are intact and seemingly very easily repairable to a fully functioning toy.
