Heavyweight MESH material, authentic weight, vintage 1989-1990 era Made in Canada hockey jersey from CCM -- royal blue in color with orange and white stripes.
Being an authentic authentic jersey, it is heavyweight CCM MESH material and has sewn-on crest, double reinforced elbows, fight strap, and the embroidered multi-color CCM Big Block logo on the back -- all the bells and whistles just like the pros wear!
Jersey itself is in excellent condition. I am not the original owner and only found one small abrasion/hole on the left elbow area. Jersey has only been displayed in my smoke-free, COVID-free home.
PLEASE NOTE:
Jersey is at the very minimum an authentic weight CCM MESH from 89/90, the first season the Oilers wore CCM after wearing Nike Mesh for many seasons and given the lack of an NHL shield logo embroidered on the back. The Oilers started wearing AirKnit CCM for the 1990 Playoffs and seasons thereafter, so that helps with the dating. The prior owner was not sure if this could be a game worn/game issued/team issued jersey. He stripped it clean to its current state, so I am calling it Authentic given no further information or provenance was available. Beautiful heavyweight mesh piece that is in fantastic condition being more than 30 years old! Would make a fantastic Messier, Kurri, Anderson, Lowe, MacTavish, etc!
