    Description

    CHEIN MUSICAL AREO SWING BOXED 1930s TIN LITHO MECHANICAL #265 WORKS PLAYS MUSIC. Here is an excellent although not perfect example of a close to 90 year old Chein Aero Swing. This is lever activated, pull the lever all the way to the left and the carts really spin and extend out quite a bit while playing ding ding ding which is what they call music. The lithography is stunning. The top is a little loose and shifts to the right just a little. It will not come off. There is a ding just above the lever on the platform and edge. It does not quite sit flat, very close just a little off. None of this hinders the wonderful workings of this vintage toy. There is no rust or other dings. The carts are nice showing children enjoying the ride. The center shows a large litho organ. The bottom is very clean. It is 10 inches tall X 9 inches wide. The old box is in poor condition, has had some reinforcement within. It has had repairs and tape. Ironically all the end flaps are there. As you can see the bottom is quite nice, it may have never been opened. A classic toy from Chein still in working condition in an original box. Please check out my other vintage toys.
