c. 1930's English Double Decker Bus Tin Wind-up w/ Texaco Regent Oil Advertising

Offered for sale is this very nice tin wind-up English double decker bus manufactured sometime in the 1930's by Wells Brimtoy. This particular bus is advertising Texaco's "Regent Petrol" but there were different advertisers on other examples (perhaps they were promotional pieces for the companies they were advertising?).
The toy measures about 6 1/2" long and has stood up surprisingly well, given that it is over 80 years old: the colors and the detail are still quite strong and there is no damage to the tinplate other than a small dimple just above the upper window, a bit of slight denting above the right rear wheel well, and light play wear here and there (should be evident in the pics).  The clockwork mechanism, operated by a built-in key, is strong and works as it should
