Blonder Tongue QQQT Transcoder
Quad array of four QPSK to QAM Transcoders. Each of the transcoders does this by accomplishing two important functions. First, each transcodes any 30MHz wide QPSK modulated satellite signal to a 6MHz wide QAM modulated IF signal. Second, each translates the resultant 6MHz wide IF signal to any CATV RF channel assignment in the 54-750 or 550-860MHz frequency band. The QQQT is designed to be compatible with the Motorola DigiCipher
®
II set-top decoders.
