I am the original owner. High end expensive AV furniture from the 1990's. Made in Italy. This is strong, made of metal and like 25 years old. This will last forever if treated with care.
4 fixed non removable shelves. Top shelf was made to hold a heavy TV. I had originally bought it for a TV but decided to put my heavy 1960's 62 lbs Akai X355 on it. That Akai deck has been on it for almost 25 years. I also had a 46 lbs Akai 747 dxb on it. This should easily hold a heavy McIntosh amp.
