    Description

    Here is a used mallard dummy used for training hunting dogs to properly pick up, carry and hold game birds.  This is an Avery Sporting Goods model as marked under its beak (picture 3).  It is also a licensed product of Ducks Unlimited, as marked on the duck's back (picture 4).   It is made of rubberized foam and is very durable and designed to float in water.  It looks like a dead duck!  It has an extender with ball end (also marked Avery) that allows an accurate throw.  It measures 22" in total to include the rope enders, the body measures 10" lonbg and 5 1/2" wide and the head is almost 5" long.  It weighs about 1 lb.
    This is a used product and there is no packaging or paper or instructions included.  The extender has a spot of threadbare (picture 8) and needs some repair.  Otherwise this dead duck is in good shape.
