The Audio Authority 1398C 1x8 HDMI distribution amplifier  supports 4K/2K Ultra HD video as well as 3D, 36 bit color depth /12 bits per color, lossless audio formats, and many of the latest features.
1398C distributes identical 4K Ultra High Definition video signals from one source to eight UHD displays. It is the ideal solution for merchandising HD displays using the latest content a the highest resolutions, and even 3D.  It supports standard 4K2K formats and refresh rates, showing the maximum capabilities of 4K flat screen displays and projectors.
It is essential that a distribution amplifier allows an HD source to function with multiple displays of different brands.  Display-source compatibility is ensured by the 1398C’s multiple EDID options. In TV mode the 1398C uses the EDID on one of its eight outputs, and asks the source to send matching HDMI signals to the other seven HDMI outputs.  In default mode the 1398C uses its built-in EDID as an alternative in case there is a problem getting the source to send a video format compatible with all displays.
It’s easy to install the 1398C using its integral mounting flanges and locking power supply connection ensures dependable service. With output jacks on both sides, sharp cable bends are kept to a minimum.  Daisy-chain multiple 1398Cs or create a hub-and-spoke layout for large distribution systems.
Like most Audio Authority products, the 1398C comes with a one year limited warranty from the manufacturer.

Overview
Model 1398C distributes Ultra High Definition resolutions up to 4K from one source to eight HDMI displays. Multiple EDID settings ensure compatibility between source and displays. This feature is especially useful in the retail demo environment, where multiple brand and model TVs all receive the same source signals. The 1398C passes 3D signals. Bitstream audio is also supported - including LPCM 7.1 channel uncompressed audio, Dolby Digital TrueHD (7.1), and DTS HD: Master Audio (7.1). Legacy codecs such as Dolby Digital and DTS core are also supported.

Our preferred international shipping method for all international shipments because it offers the best tracking as well as the fastest and most dependable delivery.
Priority Mail International

First Class Mail International

Warranty
Manufacturer's Warranty Statement
Should any consumer product manufactured by Audio Authority fail due to defects in materials or workmanship within one year from the date of the original sale to the end-user, Audio Authority guarantees that we will replace the defective product at no cost. Freight charges for the replacement unit will be paid by Audio Authority (Ground service only). A copy of the invoice from an Authorized Reseller showing the item number and date of purchase (proof-of-purchase) must be submitted with the defective unit to constitute a valid in-warranty claim.
Units that fail after the warranty period has expired may be returned to the factory for repair at a nominal charge, if not damaged beyond the point of repair. All freight charges for out-of-warranty returns for repair are the responsibility of the customer. Units returned for repair must have a Return Authorization Number assigned by the factory.
This is a limited warranty and is not applicable for products which, in our opinion, have been damaged (including lightning, water, fire, etc.), altered, abused, misused, or improperly installed. Audio Authority makes no other warranties either expressed or implied, including limitation warranties as to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Additionally, there are no allowances or credits available for service work or installation performed in the field by the end user.

Audio Authority typically does a very fine job of handling warranty issues, but if you prefer to deal with Cable Solutions, we will be pleased to handle the matter for you.
International Customers
Please notice that most of our electronic equipment carries a USA warranty, so all international warranty issues must be handled by Cable Solutions.  This means that you must return the item to Cable Solutions for all warranty repair or replacement issues. You will be responsible for all shipping/handling expenses.

Defective Merchandise
Defective merchandise will be repaired or replaced as described above.
Non-defective Merchandise
All non-defective returns are subject to restocking fees.  Here are some examples of the fees:

Shipping/handling fees are not refundable and you will be responsible for all shipping/handling expenses related to the return.  In the case of items with "free shipping", customary shipping/handling fees will be added to your restocking fees.
In order to qualify for the rates shown above, we must receive your return within the first 14 days following the day you receive your order.  In cases where the item is returned incomplete, or in less than perfect condition, we will evaluate the restocking fees on a case by case basis.
