Cation and Anion resins (H+ and OH-) remove the remaining total                        dissolved solids (TDS) from membrane-filtered water.
Cartridge housing shape lends itself to efficient water-to-resin contact.
Filled with high-grade MBD-30 resin that gradually changes color as the              resin is depleted.

DI Resin:
DI resin is crucial when you want  your water to have 0 total dissolved solids (TDS).  It’s installed post the RO membrane & is the last stage in the filtration process. It’s designed to be used with refillable cartridges. Color changing resin physically changes color as the media gets exhausted. The color of the green resin changes to blue after a few month of use and orange/brown when it needs to be replaced. Superior then the cheap blue colored resin. The supreme anion resin is a type 1 strongly basic gel resin  with an indicator dye that changes from green to light brown as the resin exhausts. The change in the color makes it easier to monitor the usage of the DI resin & know when to change it out.
What is TDS?
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) are the total amount of mobile charged ions, including minerals, salts or metals dissolved in a given volume of water, expressed in units of mg per unit volume of water (mg/L), also referred to as parts per million (ppm). TDS is directly related to the purity of water and the quality of water purification systems and affects everything that consumes, lives in, or uses water, whether organic or inorganic, whether for better or for worse.
