BACK IN STOCK. Item listed is a Precision Adjustable Parallel Block PT#AP54. The Height can be adjusted from 1.19" to 1.44" using a 3/16" Allen wrench. Blocks are flat and parallel within .002 and have a Black Oxide finish. These are made of non-hardened 1018 steel and can hold 550 lbs evenly distributed for screw adjustment and a can take 1200 lbs of clamping pressure. These are very popular on vertical, horizontal mills, vert. boring mills, inspection and welding. When you are making parts with various heights, bent or warped parts or just need support without having to make a special block, these are the answer. NO MORE WIGGLING JACKS OR USING SHIMS WITH A PRY-BAR. The width is 2.06" and the depth is 1.5". Most of the guys who use these put a brass shim on the mating face to protect the finish.
