Hello you are bidding on a rare 1981 Pontiac LeMans Safari Station wagon that was manufactured by General Motors Corporation and assembled at the Baltimore Md. Plant. This car appears to be in fair condition overall. My Dad, who was an Engineer and amateur Mechanic, purchased this vehicle in Maryland and drove it along with 3 additional cars he owned at that time for his 45 minute commute to work. He documented oil/filter changes he completed every 3000 miles and began adding 1 quart of oil between oil changes at 154k miles. My dad also replaced many wear and tear parts/accessories on this vehicle. The advantages of this size station wagon include being able to transport 4x8 sheets of plywood etc. This car has been stored in a covered car port since 2012. I did not see excessive rust on or under the car. I replaced the battery and started the vehicle after at least three cranking cycles. The oil pressure light illuminated for about 10 seconds. I test drove this Station Wagon around the neighborhood and the engine and brakes appeared to be very responsive. The transmission went through all 3 gears smoothly. You should expect this vehicle to require some TLC/maintenance and renovation including all 4 tires.
