Description

Offered is an original Märklin wind up toy truck produced 1937-1938.  The dimensions are 15 cm long, 5cm wide, and 7cm tall.  The height increases while the barrel is raised.   The item is in remarkable shape and does not have broken parts.  Besides elevating, the gun turns on its mount.  There is a mark on the bottom between the back two axles.  If any of the photos are ineffective or if you have any questions, please email.  This item will be safely mailed via Priority Mail.  All sales are fully guaranteed.  Good Luck!!
There is a story behind this piece which I obtained from a Bavarian antique dealer.  He told me that he had obtained it from an elderly woman and that she had obtained it, years ago, from an uncle who played with the truck prior to WW2.  Sadly, after he was killed on the Eastern Front, she took his toys, put them into a box, and filed them away.  Only within the last few years, as she was downsizing, did she bring the box to the antique dealer.
This is a unique piece.  Not only is it in excellent condition, but it was made for soldiers from the 4-5 cm sizes.
